The high commissioner of the province of Namentenga, Adama Conseiga chaired on August 23, 2024 at the Boulsa ‘A’ school the solemn ceremony of handing over the rehabilitation site of the school to two companies, in the presence of the customary and traditional chief of Boulsa, Naaba Sonré. For the occasion, the representative of the General Directorate of Cooperation (DGCOOP), Ms. Kohoun/Dakuyo Pascaline assured that the rehabilitation project of school ‘A’ will be a success .

The interest shown by the authorities and the Nayinéré Association for the Development of Namentenga (ANDN) in this project sparked the reaction of the representative of the General Directorate of Cooperation (DGCOOP), Ms. Kohoun/Dakuyo Pascaline.

According to her, the rehabilitation project of school ‘A’ in Boulsa will be a success with the support of all stakeholders in the province.

The first batch of construction of the fence wall, costing 27 million 245 thousand 780 CFA francs, is awarded to the ETAF company. As for the 2nd lot
dedicated to the renovation of the 6 classrooms with equipment and various supplies, awarded to the company EZI is estimated at 22 million 719 thousand 224 FCFA.

‘Obtaining this funding from Japan is the culmination of joint efforts between the ANDN and the DGCOOP,’ said the president of the association, Fulbert Bembamba.

Seizing the opportunity, the DGCOOP representative congratulated the ANDN for its dynamism in respecting the donor’s requirements.

By handing over the files to the contractors, Naaba Sonré also wished the success of the school ‘A’ rehabilitation project.

High Commissioner Adama Conseiga thanked the DGCOOP and the ANDN before inviting companies to follow the example of the company that built the school since its creation in 1944.

‘I will meet with everyone in 5 months for the reception of the building,’ said Mr. Conseiga.

A guided tour of the ‘A’ school in Boulsa ended the site handover ceremony to the companies.
