Separatist Fighters at Kikaikom – Kumbo ban civilians from accessing the Administrative Headquarters of the town – Tobin.

Self styled “General Talk and Do” of Kikaikom – Kumbo and his peers have issued a stern circulation ban to civilians accessing Tobin – Kumbo for whatever reason on foot, bike top, private vehicles or township taxis.

The ban came after authorities of the Kumbo Council issued a strong warning and an immediate end to Cars loading from the Mbveh Market and paying proceeds to the Kikaikom Separatists Camp since 2018. Heavy duty trucks have been paying Park Fee to the tune of 25,000Frs and other vehicles ferrying passengers 5000Frs respectfully. In retaliation for the juicy earnings the Kikaikom Boys shall be missing, they promised to execute whoever shall dare defile their access to Tobin ban.

Tobin is not only the Administrative Headquarter of the town but of Bui as it hosts all the Divsional Delegations, the Town’s Council and the largest Government Secondary High School of the Division. Civilians, Bikes and Vehicle owners have received the ban with mixed feelings as this shall affect them more. It is also worth noting that many civilians have fled other volatile neighborhoods in Kumbo to find safety at Tobin where the military is taking guard and where schools seem to be going hitch free. Concerns are raised on how these civilians shall access hospitals and other services away from Tobin.
