Bale Launches Second Phase of JEPPC in Bagassi: PDS Shares Head of State’s Message with Residents

Bale: As part of phase 2 of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation, the commune of Bagassi, like other localities in Burkina Faso, proceeded to the raising of the national colors in the town hall. Under the theme “For order and discipline, I commit myself!”, the ceremony mobilized the constituted bodies, the defense and security forces, the local authorities as well as the civil society organizations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, after reading the Head of State’s message, the President of the special delegation, Mr. Ouedraogo Souleymane, emphasized the phrase “I commit us” used by the Head of State to signify that every Burkinabe must adopt the values advocated, following the example of the country’s first leader.

The PDS highlighted two key points from the presidential speech: the preservation of public property and the fight against corruption. “There is no longer any need to talk too much. As for corruption, the guilty will be punished. As for public property, we must preserve it, because if this is not done, it is a huge loss for the nation,” he stated.

In closing, the PDS thanked all the stakeholders present and invited them to transform this call into concrete actions in the service of patriotism and local development.
