Boulgou: Classes Resume in Joy at the Tengsoba ‘B’ School in Niaogho

Boulgou: Classes resume in joy at the Tengsoba ‘B’ school in Niaogho: Like everywhere in Burkina Faso, primary and secondary school students in the commune of Niaogho, a town located about 50 kilometers from Tenkodogo, returned to school this Wednesday, October 1, 2025. At Tengsoba ‘B’ primary school, the atmosphere of this back-to-school season was marked by warm reunions, beaming faces and encouragement from parents to teachers.

According to Burkina Information Agency, from 7:30 a.m., the courtyard of Tengsoba “B” Primary School, located in the eastern part of Niaogho commune, was filled with people. Hundreds of students, both old and new, took their seats, forming a brightly colored tableau with their new uniforms and schoolbags. The old students gathered in a joyful atmosphere, while the new students timidly observed a world destined to become theirs.

The teachers, mobilized for the occasion, welcomed, oriented, and settled the new students. For them, this return to school marks the beginning of a new year of educational challenges and responsibilities.

Members of the Parents’ Association (APE) expressed their gratitude to the teaching staff for their efforts. “We appreciate the work done by our teachers and we hope they will redouble their efforts for even better results this year,” they said.

They justified their satisfaction by the performances recorded: the Tengsoba “B” school achieved, during the past year, a success rate of 95.71%, placing the establishment among the best performers in the commune.

Principal Rahinata Kouanda welcomed the parents’ support and encouraged her staff. She urged them to maintain their commitment and work together to meet the challenges of a demanding year. “It is through the cohesion of the teaching team that we will be able to continue this momentum and ensure good results,” she emphasized.

The 2025-2026 school year looks promising at Tengsoba “B” School. Between the teachers’ motivation, the parents’ support, and the students’ enthusiasm, everything seems to be in place to surpass last year’s results. For the Niaogho educational community, the school remains a pillar of development and a tool for the future for the children of Boulgou province.
