Ouagadougou: On the occasion of the start of the 2025-2026 school year, the President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Pilimpikou, Adama Ouedraogo, carried out a supervision tour of the educational structures of the commune on Wednesday, September 1, 2025. The tour focused on assessing the readiness of schools and motivating educational stakeholders.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the tour conducted by Adama Ouedraogo aimed to ensure the effective commencement of classes and to encourage the various stakeholders involved in education. He was accompanied by Oumarou Gadiaga, the head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Pilimpikou, along with his colleagues and the President of the citizen monitoring unit of the commune.
The delegation visited several schools including Pilimpikou A, Sandia, Rakounga, and Lantaga, before concluding their tour at the new General Education College (CEG) of Lantaga. At each location, the municipal authority offered encouragement and extended well wishes for a successful school year.
The new CEG in Lantaga, which features four classrooms and an administrative building, opened its doors for the current school year with approximately 95 students enrolled in sixth grade. The local community expressed their gratitude to the national authorities for their support in establishing the educational infrastructure.
