Sindou Basic Education District Cleared of Grass by Citizen Watch Coordination


Leraba: The Sindou Municipal Citizen Watch Coordination (CCVC) cleared the interior of the Sindou Basic Education District (CEB) of tufts of grass on Monday, September 29, 2025. The watchword is to clean up the interior of public services within the municipality.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative aims to promote living together and social cohesion in the urban commune of Sindou, the capital of Leraba province. The “Wayihans,” in collaboration with various municipal authorities, have launched a program to clear public services of waste.



The event on September 29, 2025, saw the removal of grass from the courtyard of the Sindou basic education district CEB. Arouna Sanou, the communal president of the Sindou citizen watch, emphasized that cleaning public services in the commune is a priority. He urged the residents of Sindou to support the State’s commitment by actively participating in the development of the homeland.



Sanou highlighted the importance of concrete actions over mere discussions, expressing that their efforts are an invitation to foster social cohesion and communal living. Previously, the citizen watch had also cleaned the interiors of the prefecture, high commission, and town hall in Sindou.



Emmanuel Sourabie, Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Sindou, expressed satisfaction and commended the initiative, offering words of encouragement to the participants. Souro Sanon, the provincial director in charge of primary education in Leraba, also expressed gratitude to those dedicated to the national cause.
