The Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Halal Food Control Di ision, Syariah Affairs Department has recei ed a complaint on the ECHO brand Lint Remo er brush, belie ed to be made of pig bristles. The results of the analysis by the Department of Scientific Ser ices, Ministry of Health has confirmed that the brush was made of pig bristles.
In order to safeguard the interests of the Muslim community in the country owners and managers of business premises to immediately separate the brushes from sale to the public. Muslim users in the country are ad ised not to buy and use the brush. Business owners, managers, retailers, suppliers, and importers are reminded to be igilant when importing products for sale, and to ensure halal products are not mixed with non-halal ones.
