A devastating collision between two trucks belonging to Brasseries, a Cameroonian brewery company, at the entrance of Sa’a in the Centre region, has claimed the lives of an Inspector of Education and his two children.

The incident, which occurred at the weekend, shook the community of Sa’a as Mr. Awono De Paul, a dedicated Inspector serving at the Basic Education Inspection of Sa’a, was accompanied by his two children as he embarked on what should have been a routine trip to the Technical High School for classes.

Tragically, their journey was cut short by the unforeseen collision between the two trucks.

Eyewitnesses described a scene of chaos and despair as passersby rushed to the scene. Despite their best efforts, Mr. Awono De Paul and his two children succumbed and died on the spot due to the severity of the incident.

In some images widely shared on social media, the corpses of the three victims could be seen lying shattered on the accident scene.

Their tragic demise leaves behind a
void that will be deeply felt by their loved ones and the wider educational community.
