Argentine trade mission expected in Luanda

Argentine’s multi-sector trade mission is expected in Luanda between 22 and 23 June to boost cooperation with Angola, ANGOP has learnt.

The delegation will comprise more than 20 companies, featuring the sectors of health, agri-business, oil and gas, renewable energy, industrial machinery, food and telecommunications, states a press release from the Argentinean Embassy in Angola.

According to a note, the mission, a joint organisation comprising the Ministry for Foreign Affairs , International Trade and Worship and the Argentinean Embassy in Angola, will discuss, with Angolan businesspeople, several sectors of common interests to boost cooperation between the two countries.

Apart from the meeting with Angolan businesspeople, the mission will visit Angolan companies in various sectors in the country.

Trade between Argentina and Angola reached USD 200 million in 2022.

“Argentina is aware that the mission will boost the cooperation and trade between the two countries,” reads the document.

After a few years, Argentina is once again promoting a Trade Mission to Angola.

This time, the American country brings many companies interested in starting negotiations, aimed to improve trade between the two countries and establishing partnerships
