Mouhoun: The Governor of the Bankui region, Babo Pierre Bassinga, presided over the demobilization ceremony of the 81st class of 186 young people trained at the National Service for Development Training and Production Center (CFP/SND) in Badala. The young individuals were equipped with professional, civic, and citizenship training to prepare them as responsible contributors to national development.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the 186 young people underwent nearly a year of training at the CFP/SND in Badala, where they were educated in various professions such as masonry-construction, woodwork, metalwork, and cycle mechanics. In addition to technical skills, they received training in civics and patriotism, STI and HIV/AIDS awareness, environmental protection, financial education, and entrepreneurship.
Governor Babo Pierre Bassinga commended the dedication and discipline of the young individuals during their training at CFP/SND. He encouraged them to apply the values of rigor, civic-mindedness, and solidarity in their communities, urging them to be models of success and contributors to Burkina Faso’s progress.
Lieutenant Bandjourou Do, the center’s director, provided details on the training curriculum. He noted that the 81st class received civic and military training, supplemented by technical and professional modules. The conscripts learned about agricultural production, livestock farming, carpentry, masonry, and other promising trades, achieving a 98.93% success rate for the professional qualification certificate and a 100% success rate for the category C driving license.
Lieutenant Do emphasized that the “Engagement” promotion demonstrated readiness to tackle development challenges and lauded their participation in community work and the Faso Mebo initiative. He urged for modern equipment, new training courses, and enhanced staff support at the center to maximize its potential.
Class representative Lassina Traore expressed gratitude to the authorities and supervisors, highlighting the growth and patriotism learned at the Badala CFP/SND. He affirmed their commitment to development and social cohesion in their communities.
The ceremony concluded with certificate presentations, tree planting by the authorities, and a showcase of the conscripts’ products. Each recruit received a CQP certificate, a completion certificate, a specialty certificate, a category C driving license, and an individual savings account, equipping them for socio-professional integration.
