Korsimoro: The Korsimoro Citizen Watch in the Kulse region inaugurated the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) roundabout on Friday to mark its adherence to the ideals defended by the alliance’s leaders. On the occasion, it offered food and oil to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the citizen watch, Abdoul Aziz Sodre, indicated that the roundabout symbolizes the unwavering support of Korsimoro’s citizens for the AES. The inauguration event was attended by local community members and representatives of the citizen watch, highlighting the importance of regional alliances and local contributions to national defense efforts.
The donation to the VDP, consisting of essential supplies such as food and oil, was made to support the volunteers who play a crucial role in maintaining security and stability. The gesture was well-received by the VDP, who expressed gratitude for the support and solidarity shown by the Korsimoro community.
The AES roundabout now stands as a representation of unity and cooperation within the Kulse region, reflecting the shared commitment of its citizens to the values and objectives of the Sahel alliance.
