Bittou: More than 300 Women to Benefit from Cancer and Health Screenings


Bittou: More than 300 women will benefit from free screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer, high blood pressure, syphilis, hepatitis B, and HIV/AIDS, launched on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the urban CSP of Bittou. This initiative is part of the days of excellence organized by the health district of Bittou during the month of “pink October.”



According to Burkina Information Agency, the mobile clinic is providing these screenings to support women’s health in the region. Salfo Kere, a magnet therapist at the Bittou CMA maternity ward, expressed support for the activity, highlighting its goal to address pathology among women. He encouraged women to apply the advice they received during the screenings.
