Gnagna: The municipality of Bogande takes stock of its annual investment plan at the mid-term: The municipality of Bogande held a session of the Municipal Consultation Framework (CCCO) on Thursday, dedicated to the mid-term monitoring of its Annual Investment Plan (PAI). Participants examined the results already achieved and defined perspectives for improving the implementation of development actions.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting, chaired by the president of the special municipal delegation, Taugolo Pare, brought together representatives of the administration, technical services, civil society organizations, and development partners. The report presented includes seven investment activities included in the PAI, two of which have been fully completed. These are the construction of a maternity ward in sector 2 and the creation of an autonomous water point (PEA) at the livestock market, for a total amount of 45,725,786 CFA francs.
The five other activities not yet completed are the construction of a MEG depot at the urban CSPS 2, the development of a culvert for access to the cemetery in sector 1, the construction of five street shops at the large market, the acquisition and installation of equipment for the town hall meeting room, as well as the acquisition of school materials and offices for two blocks of classrooms and the administration at the provincial high school.
According to the head of public procurement, Mamoudou Haro, all these activities are already underway and will be completed during the last quarter of the year. However, it was noted that financial and security constraints have slowed the implementation of certain actions. Added to this is the administrative burden, marked by the absence of certain competent technical services on site.
The discussions allowed participants to formulate several recommendations, including better mobilization of local resources, strengthening synergy between stakeholders, and prioritizing urgent actions for the benefit of populations. The president of the special delegation of the urban commune of Bogande, Taugolo Pare, praised the spirit of responsibility and commitment of the participants, before inviting them to continue their efforts so that the annual report of the PAI truly reflects the aspirations of the commune in terms of development.
