The Government of Cuanza-Norte praised, this Wednesday, the quality work and commitment of the Board of Directors, professionals and collaborators of the National News Agency (ANGOP) in the mission of informing Angola and the world.
In a note addressed to the Board of Directors of ANGOP, in particular to the Management of the Provincial Delegation in Cuanza-Norte, on the occasion of yet another anniversary of this media outlet, the institution considers that the company has been an essential part of communicating news throughout the country.
For the Government of Cuanza-Norte, ANGOP remains committed to bringing quality information to Angolan citizens, including those who live beyond borders, representing and disseminating the national reality on the international stage.
In this sense, it urges the agency to remain firm in its pursuit of plural, ethical and impartial journalism, in alignment with deontological values ??and the norms of freedom of expression and the press, which it considers to be pillars
of citizens’ constitutional rights.
In the note, the institution encourages ANGOP’s management in the province to continue to act as a source of motivation and inspiration, encouraging professionals to carry out the noble mission of informing with responsibility, quality and enthusiasm.
It calls for each news item to reflect the commitment to the public that trusts the agency.
In the message, the institution states that it recognizes and applauds ANGOP’s dedication, professionalism and zeal in promoting the civic and patriotic values ??of Angolans.
The Government of Cuanza-Norte says it believes in consolidating the agency’s position as a reliable and desirable source in the construction of an increasingly informed, inclusive and developed Angola.
On this 30th of October, the note highlights, as it celebrates its 49th anniversary, the Provincial Government of Cuanza Norte sends its warmest greetings to the Board of Directors, employees and all collaborators of the agency, encouraging them to move forward
with determination, united and prepared to face the current and future challenges.
