Nahouri’s Citizen Watch Launches Patriotic Cleanup in Po

Nahouri: The citizen watch of the commune of Po officially launched a patriotic operation this Tuesday, September 8, 2025, to clean up the central market and the Health and Social Promotion Centers (CSPS) of sector No. 4 of Po and Dakola. This initiative is part of the presidential agenda for community development.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the operation, held on Tuesday, September 8, 2025, focused on cleaning the gutters around the central market and tidying up the interior. The provincial coordinator of the Nahouri citizen watch, Arouna Gomgnimbou, emphasized that these activities, aligned with the presidential community development initiative, will extend to various sectors of the commune and the CSPS in sector 4 and Dakola.

Mr. Gomgnimbou urged the community to remain engaged in maintaining a clean environment, contributing to the President's developmental momentum. The market women, pleased with the morning's cleanup efforts, pledged to uphold cleanliness by organizing regular sanitation sessions. "We will report the uncivilized to the municipal authorities so that they can be punished," stated Kalira Bilgo, president of the market women.

Luc Petrabou, the second vice-president of the special delegation of Po, expressed his appreciation to the community for supporting the initiative and acknowledged the citizen watch for their efforts in these patriotic activities.
