Ouagadougou: The first batch of high school graduates called to the compulsory patriotic immersion in the Kadiogo region pledged Tuesday in Ouagadougou to apply the values of patriotism, integrity, and peace learned to build a stronger and more resilient Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the 20,000 new graduates who took part in the month-long patriotic immersion in the Kadiogo region took the oath, through their representative, to live and promote the values of probity, integrity, and solidarity. They committed to uphold the ideals of peace, national unity, and civic responsibility, aiming to be builders of the Burkina Faso of tomorrow.
The graduates pledged to be models of discipline, respect, and work well done. They vowed to reject corruption, cheating, and anything that harms the general interest. Additionally, they committed to being ambassadors of patriotic values in universities, their families, their neighborhoods, and throughout society.
