Hitachi Energy to appoint Andreas Schierenbeck as new Chief Executive Officer, Claudio Facchin to step down on June 30, 2024

Zurich, March 07, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hitachi Energy today announced that Andreas Schierenbeck will be appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2024. Claudio Facchin, Hitachi Energy CEO, will step down at the end of June 2024. Andreas will engage with the Hitachi Energy Board, Executive Team and Claudio to ensure a smooth transition prior to the handover on July 1, 2024.

Andreas joins Hitachi Energy from HH2E, a new green-hydrogen production company, where he is currently co-founder and board member. He previously worked as CEO of Uniper from 2019 to 2021, where he launched the company’s decarbonization strategy. Prior to that he was the CEO of thyssenkrupp Elevator, where he led the transformation of the company into a global leader leveraging digital technology from 2013 to 2018. Between 1992 and 2012, Andreas held various management positions within Siemens, including President and CEO of Siemens Building Technologies in the US between 2010 and 2012 and Senior Vice President in the Siemens electric utility sector in Switzerland. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the TU Dresden and an Advanced Management Certificate from Harvard University in the US. Andreas is a German citizen.

Un groupe diversifié d’organisations et de personnes à travers le monde a été récompensé dans des catégories de prix incluant les responsables commerciaux, les prestataires de solutions, les centres de contact, les nouveaux produits et services, et bien plus encore.

Tous les finalistes nominés recevront à l’issue de l’évènement un Stevie Award d’or, d’argent ou de bronze. Les classements seront dévoilés lors d’un banquet de gala qui se tiendra le vendredi 12 avril à l’hôtel Bellagio à Las Vegas, Nevada. Les tickets sont déjà en vente.

Les prix seront décernés par les Stevie Awards, qui organisent certains des plus grands évènements de remises de récompenses commerciales au monde, y compris les prestigieux International Business Awards® et American Business Awards®.

Plus de 2 300 candidatures provenant d’organisations de toutes tailles et de représentant presque tous les secteurs ont été évaluées lors du concours de cette année. Les finalistes ont été déterminés par des notes moyennes données par plus de 200 professionnels à travers le monde au sein de sept comités de décision spécialisés. Les candidatures ont été prises en compte pour plus de 60 catégories listant les réalisations en matière de service client et de centre de contact, notamment les prix de Centre de contact de l’année, d’Innovation en matière de service client et Service client de l’année. 60 catégories sont également consacrées aux réalisations en matière de ventes et de développement commercial, notamment les prix de Directeur des ventes de l’année, Formation commerciale de l’année, ou encore Réalisation en matière d’automatisation des ventes. D’autres catégories encore récompenseront les nouveaux produits et services et les prestataires de solutions, entre autres.

Tous les départements consacrés au service client finalistes seront inclus dans le vote pour les People’s Choice Stevie® Awards dans la catégorie Service client préféré. À partir d’aujourd’hui et jusqu’au 29 mars, le public peut voter pour ses prestataires de service client préférés dans le cadre des People’s Choice Stevie Awards, catégorie Service client préféré. Les votes sont ouverts à cette adresse : Le candidat qui obtiendra le plus de votes dans chaque catégorie recevra un People’s Choice Stevie Award cristal spécial. Les lauréats des People’s Choice Stevie Awards dans divers secteurs seront honorés lors du gala de remise des prix qui se tiendra à Las Vegas, le 12 avril prochain.

Les candidatures pour le prix spécial d’Éthique en matière de partenariats commerciaux restent ouvertes jusqu’au 15 mars. La soumission de candidatures est gratuite pour ce prix, qui récompensera des exemples exceptionnels en matière de pratiques de vente éthiques depuis début juillet 2022. Les lauréats seront également dévoilés et honorés lors de la cérémonie du 12 avril.
