مشاركة أكثر من 300 مليون صيني في رياضات التزلج

أكّد الرئيس الصيني في كلمته أمام الجلسة الافتتاحية لدورة اللجنة الأولمبية الدولية على أنّ الصين ستبذل قصارى جهدها لنشر قيم دورات الألعاب الأولمبية.

كما أوضح أنّ استضافة الصين لدورة الألعاب الأولمبية الشتوية ساعدتها على تحقيق هدفها المتمثّل في تشجيع 300 مليون شخص على ممارسة رياضة التزلج.

وأضاف شي: «إنّ استضافة الصين لدورة الألعاب الأولمبية الشتوية أسهم في تعزيز تنميتها الإقليمية والإيكولوجية، وتحسين الحالة المعيشية للشعب، وإفساح المجال لتطوير قطاع رياضات التزلج على مستوى العالم».

ووفقًا لأحدث بيانات صادرة عن المكتب الوطني الصيني للإحصاء NBS))، فقد شارك أكثر من 346 مليون صيني (بنسبة مشاركة 24,56%) في أنشطة رياضات شتوية منذ اختيار الصين في عام 2015 لاستضافة دورة الألعاب الأولمبية الشتوية.

وبحلول أوائل عام 2021، نجحت الصين في إقامة 654 حلبة للتزلج على الجليد؛ بزيادة كبيرة بنسبة 317% عن عدد حلبات التزلج التي كانت موجودة في البلاد حتى عام 2015، كما وصل عدد منتجعات التزلج المغلقة والمكشوفة إلى 803؛ مقارنة بـ 568 منتجعًا في عام 2015.

كما أظهر تقرير بحثي صدر في عام 2021 أنّ إيرادات قطاع رياضات التزلج في الصين بلغت 93 مليار دولار أمريكي في عام 2020؛ مقارنة بإيرادات بلغت 42 مليار دولار أمريكي في عام 2015.

ووفقًا للخطة الصينية لتنمية قطاع رياضات التزلج في المدّة من عام 2016 إلى 2025، فمن المستهدف وصول إيرادات هذا القطاع إلى تريليون يوان (157,2 مليار دولار) بحلول عام 2025.

VIENNA and BAAR, Scotland, Feb. 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Scientists from the Swiss-Austrian research group HealthBiocare GmbH and System Biologie AG, in collaboration with the University of Vienna, have found a new non-invasive approach for the detection of the nine most common types of cancer.

Although cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, there are still no clinically approved tests for broader cancer screening of the population. The earlier tumors are detected, the sooner cancer can be prevented or the chances of cure increased.

By combining DNA mutations with epigenetic alterations such as DNA methylation and miRNAs, the scientists developed a classification model that could distinguish between healthy subjects and patients with solid tumors with 95.4% accuracy, 97.9% sensitivity, and 80% specificity.

Usually, most researchers focus on one biomarker, and one cancer type at a time. For this study, plasma samples of healthy subjects and individuals with one of nine different tumor types were analyzed for genetics and epigenetics alterations (lung, pancreas, colorectal cancer, prostate, ovarian, breast, stomach, bladder, and brain cancer). The combination of three different analytes showed the best accuracy and sensitivity and was superior to the biopsy models based solely on mutations, cfDNA methylation, or miRNAs.

To fully validate the clinical utility of this test and further assess whether the tissue of origin could be identified, the researchers plan to carry out a bigger prospective cohort. Their ultimate goal is to develop an accurate, simple and minimally invasive pan-cancer screening test which could be routinely performed at annual check-ups, thereby increasing early tumor detection, especially in high-risk populations.
